Longtime NFL Licensee To Debut "NFL Game Day" Board Game

Williamsburg, Va.-based Fremont Die Consumer Products is debuting its new "NFL Game Day" board game at the American Int’l Toy Fair in N.Y., which runs today through Wednesday. The game, subtitled "The Ultimate Football Board Game," teaches the rules of football, with players using cards and dice to move down a football field toward NFL team-branded endzones. Fremont Die VP Sharon Weinberg expects the game to be available in April at licensed fan shops, sporting goods stores, bookstores, department stores and online. She said of pitting the product against digital games, “We think the timing is right. Board games are coming back now" (Andrew Westney, Staff Writer).
