Legends partnered with 3ICE to accelerate the growth of the new 3-on-3 hockey league that just completed its inaugural season. Legends will manage sponsorships, merchandise, media strategy and buying, and make a minority investment in the league as part of the company’s Growth Enterprises division (Legends).

Reporting platform RealResponse expanded its core offerings, with a first-of-its-kind program with Clemson offering the RealResponse platform to all university students, faculty and staff. Clemson has been using the platform as a first adopter for all its student-athletes since 2016 (RealResponse).

Hockey Canada said that it "will not collect a portion of player fees from provincial governing bodies this season following revelations earlier this year the organization was using a fund, which was partially fed by money collected from players, to settle sexual assault claims" (THE ATHLETIC, 10/25).

The Univ. of Maryland athletics department is collaborating with Sport & Story to launch Terps+, a new subscription streaming platform featuring original video content, podcasts, a daily email newsletter and additional storytelling features (Univ. of Maryland).

The U.S. Postal Service "will honor American women’s soccer with a new stamp in 2023." The women’s soccer stamp was designed by Antonio Alcalá using an illustration by Noah MacMillan (USA TODAY, 10/25).
