Source: Sinclair Sells RSN Naming Rights To Bally's Corp.

Sinclair Broadcast Group and casino operator Bally’s Corp. "signed a deal for Sinclair to rename its 21 sports networks Bally Sports," according to a source. Sources said that Bally’s will pay Sinclair $85M "over a 10-year period for the naming rights." The sources added that the goal is for viewers to "eventually be able to bet on games using a Bally’s online gaming tool directly from their TVs." Sources also said that the broadcast company will also "get a 15 percent stake in the Nasdaq-listed Bally’s and will have the right to up its stake by another 15 percent if it hits certain financial targets." Sinclair also owns a minority stake in the YES Network, but sources said that the deal "doesn’t extend to YES" (N.Y. POST, 11/19).
