Bubba Wallace Talks "Noose" Aftermath With Trevor Noah

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace appeared on "The Daily Show," where Comedy Central's Trevor Noah said the recent noose incident turning out to be neither a hate crime nor a hoax was the "best possible outcome." Wallace told Noah he is "mentally and physically drained" after the very public ordeal. Wallace said of speaking on social issues, "I'm letting that guard down, and I do it with the utmost respect of all of my partners, my sponsors, my race team, people that are supporting me. ... They have to know the bigger picture of everything. It’s not about racing. It's about race” (“The Daily Show,” Comedy Central, 6/24).
