Texas Again Keeps Football Season-Ticket Prices Frozen

Texas AD Chris Del Conte said that the football program "will keep season ticket prices frozen for a fifth straight year." Del Conte spoke last night at the second annual Texas Athletics Town Hall. Prices will again range from $199-630 for the actual tickets, though the total cost is "determined by the required Longhorn Foundation donation, a figure unique to each ticket holder." This comes after the Texas athletic department generated a record $223.9M in revenues for '18-19 (AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN, 2/5).

During the Town Hall event at the LBJ Library, Del Conte "went over various aspects of the south end zone expansion project and showed how the area is under full construction" at Royal-Memorial Stadium. Del Conte said, "The video board will be coming back." The AD also gave a "major hint of a big change coming to the stadium lights" (AUSTIN AMERICAN-STATESMAN, 2/5).
