Raptors Clean Up At NBA Meetings, Winning Seven Awards

The Raptors were the big winners at the NBA sales and marketing meetings in Miami, as the defending champions won seven awards handed out last night, including the league’s inaugural Team of the Year honor. The Raptors also earned the most awards (six) across team business, including ticketing, partnerships, marketing, digital media, business analytics and innovation. The Clippers won five awards, while the Lakers and Heat each received four for team business performance.

The Mavericks won the NBA Inclusion Leadership Award. The Bucks and Kings teamed up for the NBA Inclusion Innovation Award, while the Kings also won the NBA Team Innovation Award. Pacers Senior Dir of Guest & Culinary Experience Erin Dlouhy received the Pete Winemiller Guest Experience Innovation Award. 

Commissioner Adam Silver began the sales meetings by paying tribute to the late David Stern.
