Donation Puts Bashor Name On Field At SDSU's Stadium

San Diego State has secured a $15M donation from local philanthropist Dianne Bashor to help "fund construction of the school's planned Mission Valley stadium, and the Aztecs home field will now go by the name of Bashor Field." The gift is "one of the largest in the institution's history." The "lead donation from Bashor, who is not an alumna, brings the total committed to the stadium effort at just shy" of $30M (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 12/6).

Meanwhile, the field at Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium "will have a new name" starting with the '20 season. The school today will announce "whose name goes on the field and the gift amount."
