Bryant-Denny Stadium Renovations Kick Off In Earnest
Work "begins in earnest" today on nearly $106M in improvements to the Univ. of Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium, with construction "expected to be complete in time for the 2020 home opener against Georgia State on Sept. 12." Alabama AD Greg Byrne said that "some elements of the upgrades were already underway even before the end of Saturday’s home finale against Western Carolina" (TUSCALOOSA NEWS, 11/25). Among the upgrades: High-end club seats "will replace seats on the west end, student social spaces will be added on the south end while four larger video boards will replace the existing ones in each of the corners" (AL.com, 11/21).
