The San Diego City Council voted unanimously to move SDSU's deal for Mission Valley stadium property to its "next stage, meaning the City Attorney's Office is now responsible for drafting a purchase and sale agreement that will later be vetted by city staff, then ultimately discussed in public session in January" (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 11/19). 

A measure to legalize sports gambling in California "could be on the ballot" in November '20, as 18 tribes are "pushing for the voters to make the decision for betting at racetracks and Indian casinos" (HARTFORD COURANT, 11/19).
