NDSU Goes With Learfield IMG College For Athletic Sales

North Dakota State has reached an agreement with Learfield IMG College to "handle the sales end of the athletic department," a shift away from handling "corporate sales in-house." NDSU AD Matt Larsen said that Learfield’s "experience, access to national brands and vendors and agreements with national firms made the timing right." Learfield "would like to begin next July 1 but has already started advertising for a general manager." The company now manages the athletic departments of at least 135 D-I schools (GRAND FORKS HERALD, 11/19).
