Nashville SC Signs Jersey Sponsor Ahead Of MLS Debut

MLS expansion club Nashville SC has signed Mississippi-based Renasant Bank as its first jersey sponsor for the '19 season in a four-year deal that includes designation as "Nashville SC's banking partner." The deal also features "video and digital content along with community elements." The club will begin play in MLS in '20 and "play its home games at Nissan Stadium for two years," before a planned move to a soccer-specific venue in '22 (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 9/26). Renasant will soon roll out a co-branded debit card (Nashville SC).

The deal means Nissan, the club's current jersey sponsor for USL play, "won't be making the jump with the team to MLS" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/26).
