Rams Set To Launch Free Gambling-Style Game In Preseason

The Rams will be the second NFL team to launch a free-to-play gambling-style game this preseason. The NFL approved plans to have the team roll out “Rams Pick’em” -- a free-to-play mobile web game -- during their first preseason game this Saturday. The Rams launch comes two days after the Redskins became the first NFL team to venture into predictive gaming last night through a partnership with NBC Sports Washington.

The Rams will offer non-cash prizes for adults over 18 who correctly predict what happens in the game with prizes ranging from game tickets and pregame field passes to autographed merchandise. The Redskins-NBC Sports venture offered $1,000 each quarter. The Rams will launch the game Saturday against the Raiders and will run it during all four of the team’s preseason games. It is available via the team’s mobile app or therams.com/predict. The Rams are using Tally as its tech partner. Earlier this year, Tally worked with the Trail Blazers and Blues on similar games.
