WWE's Ronda Rousey appeared on CBS’ “The Late Show” Friday night, and host Stephen Colbert asked her about a cast she was wearing over several injured fingers. Rousey: “I need to get better at faking it.” Colbert: “This is a WWE injury?” Rousey said she was injured during the “main event at WrestleMania.” Colbert signed the cast with, “Stay sweet.” Colbert: "You became a character in the ‘Mortal Kombat’ video game. ... Who is Sonya Blade, and why is that a big deal for you?” Rousey: “She was just like that model for me, and I wanted to grow up and be the strongest woman on Earth, like Sonya Blade” (“The Late Show,” CBS, 5/3).

Former "SNL" cast member Adam Sandler returned to host the show and reprised his role of Opera Man during the “Weekend Update” segment. He sang about people and places in the news, including the Warriors-Rockets series and the Kentucky Derby (“SNL,” NBC, 5/4).
