Warriors To Repurpose Oakland HQ For Community Efforts

The Warriors' current HQ in Oakland will be repurposed into a home base for youth basketball and community programs next year after the team moves to Chase Center in S.F. The team and Kaiser Permanente also will house a community group called Generation Thrive at the Oakland facility. That group will focus on at-risk youth and will also have offices at the Chase Center. In addition, Kaiser Permanente is donating $5M to the Warriors' community efforts. The franchise will move its front office and practices to Chase Center when it opens.
