Patriots, Rams Fans Send Teams Off With Raucous Rallies

About 35,000 Patriots fans "filled Gillette Stadium" yesterday morning to send their team off to Super Bowl LIII with a "spectacular rally." Some were "dedicated enough to line up" at 6:00am ET on a cold January morning (BOSTON GLOBE, 1/28). The crowd was "deafening." Fans were "letting loose with chants such as 'We want six,' 'Beat L.A.' and 'We're still here"" (BOSTON HERALD, 1/28).

Meanwhile, Rams fans "stood in long lines winding around a high profile construction site" ahead of their team's Super Bowl sendoff in Inglewood. Most of those fans "eventually made it from those long lines into the impromptu amphitheater" set up near the site of the new $5B stadium slated to open in '20 (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 1/28).
