Roush Signs John Deere As Primary Sponsor For No. 17 Car

Roush Fenway Racing today will announce a new primary partnership with John Deere, marking the company’s most visible return to NASCAR in years. Financial terms were not available for the deal, which will see John Deere become primary sponsor of RFR’s No. 17 Ford driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for a handful of races in the Monster Energy Cup Series this season. The brand in the past served as a full-season sponsor for former driver Chad Little when he was with Roush.

John Deere has been spending more in NASCAR over the past two seasons -- running ads during programming this year after serving as an RFR associate sponsor for two races in '17. It was unclear at presstime whether John Deere used an outside agency to broker the RFR deal.
