Las Vegas USL Club Reaches Innovative Sports Betting Deal

USL club Las Vegas Lights FC have forged a new deal with the William Hill Race & Sports Book that could show the path for other new alliances after the Supreme Court decision allowing states to legalize sports gambling. William Hill, which operates sports books and a mobile betting app, will offer pregame as well as live in-game, in-stadium betting at Lights games. Lights fans who open up a William Hill account will get a free $5 bet each time the club wins a home game this USL season. This could open the door to similar deals between teams, leagues, casinos and sports books. Lights FC Owner & CEO Brett Lashbrook said, "What other pro sports teams pays its fans when it wins?"
