Major League Rugby Eyes Expansion Into DC By '20

Major League Rugby plans to expand into DC by '20, with area businessmen Paul Sheehy and Chris Dunlavey picking up the rights to run the team for between $500,000-1M. Sheehy and Dunlavey are looking for sites in the city to host the team’s games. The league launched this season with seven teams playing a schedule that runs through early July. It plans to expand to 10 teams by '20, including a team in L.A. CBS Sports Network has committed to carry 13 of the games; ESPN+ will carry around 20.
