Most Anticipated Masters In Years Begins At Augusta National

The Masters teed off this morning at Augusta National, and it "feels like expectations could scarcely be higher for a golf tournament." If one were to "line up an ideal ensemble cast of the most intriguing characters, we might come up with exactly the list of who enters this week with a legitimate chance to win." Golf's other majors "never generate this kind of buzz" (WASHINGTON POST, 4/5).

The wind today is "expected to blow just 5 to 10 mph," but it is "expected to increase to 10-15 mph on Friday and jump to 30-35 mph Saturday." Also on Saturday, there is a 70% chance of rain (AUGUSTA CHRONICLE, 4/5).
