Under Armour's Q4 Beats Analyst Predictions, Boosting Shares

Under Armour shares "soared" this morning after the company "reported sales that topped analysts' expectations, fueled largely by growth outside of North America." Total revenue was up 5% to $1.37B in Q4, which "includes the holiday season." For the period, UA "managed to sell more apparel, footwear and accessories." The company said that "some of its strongest businesses are still men's training and running shoes." UA shares were down about 34% from a year ago "as of Monday's market close" (CNBC.com, 2/13). Shares of UA are up 10% in pre-market trading (THE DAILY).
