Oak View Group Closes On Purchase Of Trade Publication Pollstar

Oak View Group has closed a deal to purchase Pollstar, a concert industry trade publication. The acquisition includes Pollstar magazine, online sites and Pollstar Live!, a yearly conference in L.A. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction comes more than six months after OVG first started talks with Pollstar officials. Pollstar joins Venues Today and SportTechie as media properties owned by Oak View, a sports and entertainment facilities consultancy formed in '15 whose principals include Tim Leiweke and Irving Azoff.
