Las Vegas Stadium Authority To Broach UNLV-Raiders Stadium Deal

The Las Vegas Stadium Authority Board meets today with a "lengthy agenda largely focused on discussion and review," and one of the central issues is "how the Raiders will share their new building with UNLV and how to craft a community." University spokesperson Tony Allen said that UNLV officials "are reviewing" a draft joint-use agreement submitted by the Raiders and "could respond" as soon as today. Also slated for discussion is the "community benefits agreement" required by Nevada state legislation that authorized $750M in public funding toward the $1.9B stadium (LAS VEGAS SUN, 7/12).
