Seattle To Make Competing KeyArena Renovation Plans Public

The $500M proposals made by Oak View Group and Seattle Partners to renovate KeyArena are “scheduled to be made public” by the city of Seattle today. Both plans were “turned in to the city April 12.” OVG said that it can “have the arena ready by Oct. 1, 2020.” SP is “targeting March 1, 2021.” OVG has a $564M renovation proposal “financed with $414 million down and an additional” $150M in loan money from Goldman Sachs.” SP’s $521M plan “calls for $271 million in private funds down” and $250M in public-bond funding” (SEATTLE TIMES, 5/1).
