WME Signs Jim Thome, Reps Him In Contract As MLB Network Analyst

WME has signed former MLBer Jim Thome and negotiated his new deal to serve as an analyst for MLB Network. WME agents Jim Ornstein, Josh Levy and Stan Kaufman are representing him. MLB Net today announced it has hired Thome as a studio analyst, debuting on "MLB Tonight" on Monday. Thome first appeared as a guest analyst on the net in February. His new TV job is in addition to his role with the White Sox as a Special Assistant to Senior VP & GM Rick Hahn, which he began in '13.
