USL's Louisville City Expected To Unveil Site For New Stadium

USL club Louisville City today will announce plans to "build a soccer-specific stadium" in the Butchertown neighborhood, according to a source (Louisville COURIER-JOURNAL, 4/12). The announcement "will include renderings." A source said that team ownership has 40 acres "under contract" for a stadium that would be "flanked by other commercial development." Cost estimates for the land, stadium and "adjoining retail and entertainment district" were unavailable (BIZJOURNALS.com, 4/11).
