Blackhawks Opening New Store At Chicago's Magnificent Mile

The Blackhawks today will open the doors to their new 5,000-square-foot, two-story retail store on Chicago's Magnificent Mile shopping strip. The team has run a smaller store at the same location since '92, occupying just the first floor. With the team's growth in popularity and extended success the last few years, there has been a significant uptick in a desire for team merchandise and memorabilia playing a part in the renovation. The new store, designed by Chipman Design Architecture, is roughly four times as large.
