Comcast, NBCU To Provide Voice/Video Services At Levi's Stadium

Comcast and NBCUniversal signed a 10-year deal to provide cloud-based voice and video services at the 49ers' new Levi's Stadium. The deal, which also includes fiber-based Ethernet Internet access, will see Comcast sponsor free in-stadium WiFi. As part of the deal, CSN Bay Area will build a 1,000-square-foot TV studio at the stadium that will air more than 400 hours of 49ers-related programming each year. Comcast will provide the in-house video feed at the stadium under the "Xfinity from Comcast" brand. The video will go to all TV monitors and interactive kiosks that will be installed throughout the stadium. Deal terms also give Comcast's broadcast affiliate, NBC Bay Area, exclusive programming and videos around the 49ers.
