Unique Seahawks Billboard Effort To Accompany Playoff Run

Washington State Municipalities has partnered with Seahawks sponsors Bud Light, Delta and Western Washington Toyota Dealers to ensure that only Seahawks-themed messages will appear on Clear Channel Outdoor billboards in downtown Seattle during the team's playoff run. Clear Channel has dedicated 20 billboards within a two-mile radius of CenturyLink Field as the "12Zone." Starting today and ending Jan. 26, those billboards will carry partner messages paying tribute to Seahawks fans. The campaign will extend to digital out-of-home media throughout the Seattle region (Clear Channel).

Meanwhile, T-Mobile will be the presenting sponsor of tomorrow's Saints-Seahawks Divisional Round NFL playoff game. The company "will be giving away 10,000 branded '12th man' capes to fans entering the stadium." It also will produce local radio and TV ads and social media efforts supporting the Seahawks. T-Mobile "doesn't disclose how much it is spending on the promotions" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 1/9).
