A Lighter Buzz....

Toronto Mayor Rob Ford yesterday wore a "throwback NFL tie from 1995-96" as he was "tackling questions about drugs and calls for his resignation" after being videotaped smoking crack. The tie included a logo for the Houston Oilers, which last played in '95-96 (THESTAR.com, 11/5).

CBS' Craig Ferguson last night addressed the the Rob Ford controversy in his monologue, saying, “Police knew the mayor was smoking crack (when) he predicted the Leafs would win the Stanley Cup” (“Late Late Show,” CBS, 11/5).
