A's Deal With Another Sewage Problem At O.co Coliseum

The A's yesterday dealt with "another sewage problem" at O.co Coliseum, "this time in their dugout instead of the clubhouse area and nearby hallway." Some players "reported foul smells from the bathroom end of their dugout," while 2B Jemile Weeks said that "there was 'a good amount' of water being cleaned out of the area" during the game against the Angels (AP, 9/18). A's VP/Stadium Operations David Rinetti said that the blockage was "isolated to one toilet, which will be unclogged" prior to today's game. Rinetti said the problem was "nowhere near on the same scale as the June fiasco" (USA TODAY, 9/18).
