NBC’s Jay Leno: “AMC announced a ’Breaking Bad’ spinoff starring the Jacksonville Jaguars.’ It’s called ‘Blocking Bad,’ ‘Tackling Bad,’ ‘Throwing Bad,’ Catching Bad.’ … In a five-part series in Sports Illustrated that has rocked collegiate football, they claim that Oklahoma State football players were paid money, got special treatment and received sexual favors. Sexual favors: So at least this story has a happy ending. … They said members of the all-female booster club would sometimes have sex with the players during the campus visits to give them the impression they’d be having sex at the school all the time. That was for the football players. The math majors, they got a Maxim magazine and a wet nap. … The word is Lamar Odom is very upset with the Kardashian family and is now threatening to spill Kardashian family secrets. In fact, he’s already hinting that Bruce Jenner may have had some work done” (“The Tonight Show,” NBC, 9/13).

CBS’ David Letterman: “It’s the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants. It’s Peyton Manning versus his little brother Eli Manning. They’re calling it the Manning Bowl. It’s the Manning Bowl and Vladimir Putin called President Obama and warned him not to intervene” (“Late Show,” CBS, 9/13).
