"Madden" Cover Athlete Adrian Peterson Talks Video Games

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson appeared on NBC's "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Friday night, with host Jimmy Fallon noting Peterson was the "reigning MVP of the NFL and will be the face of 'Madden NFL 25.'" Peterson presented Fallon with a bottle of Texas Tea along with an autographed No. 28 Vikings jersey.

Peterson said he does "play video games from time to time. My favorite game is 'Call of Duty.' It might be the only game I play. I play 'Madden,' but I'm really dedicated to the 'Call of Duty.'" Fallon added, "I play 'Call of Duty' too. I like, I crouch and I hide." Peterson: "That's the guy I'm looking out for, the guy that's just sitting back with the sniper rifle." Peterson noted during his rehab from a knee injury, he used the Wii console and was "able to do different ski games maybe a month after the surgery to help (and) it helped kind of stabilize the knee" ("Late Night With Jimmy Fallon," NBC, 6/21).
