An announced crowd of 13,810 attended last night's Braves-Marlins game, marking the smallest crowd "in Marlins Park's brief history" (MIAMI HERALD, 4/11).

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board today will begin “a second round of public hearings on applications for Philadelphia’s second casino license.” The two days of hearings will take place at Pennsylvania Convention Center (AP, 4/11).

NewBridge Bank has signed a four-year extension of its naming-rights deal for NewBridge Bank Park, the home of the Single-A South Atlantic League Greensboro Grasshoppers. The deal, originally signed in '07, will now run through '21 (NEWS-RECORD.com, 4/10).

Apparel brand Peter Millar has signed golfer Branden Grace to an endorsement deal (Peter Millar).

The NASCAR HOF last night unveiled the list of 25 nominees for its '14 induction class. The list includes the 20 nominees not selected for the '13 class and five new candidates: SMI Chair & CEO Bruton Smith, engine builder Maurice Petty and former drivers Dale Jarrett, Larry Phillips and Rex White (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 4/11).

The Pro Football HOF is expecting "a record turnout of members" for this year's induction ceremony, which will mark the facility's 50th anniversary. A typical turnout consists of 75-80 HOFers, but as many as 130 HOFers could attend the Aug. 2-4 event (AP, 4/10).
