BlackBerry, Barclays Center Agree To Two-Year Sponsorship Deal

BlackBerry as soon as today will announce that it has struck a "two-season marketing deal" with Barclays Center that a source valued at $1-5M. Barclays Center Senior VP/Corporate Sponsorships Mike Zavodsky said that the smartphone maker and its new Z10 phone will get "prominent placement throughout the arena" as well as "its own customer 'experiential' area and a suite-level lounge." The venue has "similar deals with Calvin Klein and MetroPCS for branded 'mini-neighborhoods' within the arena" (N.Y. POST, 4/4).
