NBC Sports Radio Revamps Its Online Site, Releases Mobile Apps

NBC Sports and Dial Global today launch a revamped NBC Sports Radio and an enhanced online home for the radio network, "highlighting the network's increased emphasis on its radio programming and products." The enhanced website will include "live streaming audio, social media integration, programming schedules and other tools." The apps will feature "many of the same attributes, as well as the ability to stream audio on background while other mobile applications are open" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/1 issue).

Dial Global Exec VP & GM Chris Corcoran said of the NBC Sports Radio network: "We want listeners to not only enjoy each show on NBCSR, but to learn something every day, to hear unique perspectives and to feel like they are listening to fresh, intelligent sports talk radio" (RADIOINK.com, 3/29).
