MLB Changes Tack In Anti-Aging Clinic Probe, Expected To File Lawsuit

MLB today is expected to file a lawsuit against several people connected to a South Florida anti-aging clinic, “alleging that the individuals damaged the sport by providing some of the game’s biggest stars with performance-enhancing drugs.” The suit will “seek to recoup money from its targets,” and baseball officials “hope it will produce cooperation with their investigation into the clinic’s activities.” The individuals named in the suit are unclear, but it is known that Biogenesis operator Anthony Bosch and Aces sports agency associate Juan Carlos Nunez "will be cited" in the suit (N.Y. TIMES, 3/22).
