NASCAR To Unveil Fan & Media Engagement Center In Charlotte
NASCAR today in Charlotte will unveil its Fan & Media Engagement Center, a "technology initiative that collects and aggregates what's being said about the sport in both social and traditional media and disseminates that information to the proper channels." The effort is "believed to be the first of its kind in professional sports." The glass-encased, 500-square-foot tech center is "not open to the public." It will be staffed by NASCAR’s integrative marketing communications staff (CHARLOTTE OBSERVER, 1/14).
