NASCAR/IndyCar team owner Roger Penske said that he "won't be a bidder if Indianapolis Motor Speedway is offered for sale" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 11/12).

BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston drew a sellout crowd of 22,101 for yesterday's first leg of the MLS Dynamo-DC United Eastern Conference Finals. The attendance was the "largest in the stadium's brief history" (CHRON.com, 11/11).

A crowd of 7,717 attended Friday's Central Florida-South Florida men's basketball game, which marked USF's return to the Sun Dome "after spending a year off-campus" during a $35M renovation to the arena. The attendance marked the "biggest nonconference crowd the Sun Dome has had since USF joined the Big East" in '05 (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 11/11).

Saturday's Wladimir Klitschko-Mariusz Wach heavyweight boxing match sold out the O2 World Arena in Hamburg, Germany, with a crowd of 15,000 (ESPN.com, 11/12).
