Bengals Game Will Air On Local TV; Raiders Receive Extension
The Bengals announced that tickets for Sunday's home game against the Broncos "have passed the threshold that will permit the game to be televised in the team's home markets of Cincinnati, Dayton and Lexington, Ky." The announcement means that "all four regular-season home games have been aired locally" and five in a row overall "dating back to last season" (CINCINNATI.com, 11/1).
The Raiders received a one-day extension "in hopes of declaring a sellout" for Sunday's home game against the Buccaneers. The Raiders also received an extension for the previous home game on Oct. 21, "and they sold enough tickets to lift the blackout." The team has a "streak of 11 consecutive home games on television" (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 11/2).
