ESPN/ABC today will announce its "new college on-air lineup after the departure of three analysts." Urban Meyer left the net to coach Ohio State, Bob Davie returned to coaching at New Mexico and Craig James "made an unsuccessful run in Texas for the U.S. Senate" (USA TODAY, 8/6).

An MLS season-high crowd of 60,908 attended Sunday night's Galaxy-Sounders FC game at CenturyLink Field. The attendance was the "second-largest for an MLS game in Seattle, topped only" by 64,140 for an Earthquakes-Sounders game on Oct. 15, 2011 (SEATTLE TIMES, 8/6).

An announced crowd of 29,152 was on hand for yesterday's Real Madrid-Santos Laguna World Football Challenge match at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 8/6). 

A crowd of 12,100 attended Saturday night's Pro Football HOF induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio (AP, 8/4).
