Andrew Baggarly's "Jeopardy" Run Comes To End On Fourth Day
The three-game "Jeopardy!" winning streak of CSNBayArea.com's Andrew Baggarly ended last night as he finished in third place. Baggarly walks away from the show with a three-day total of $61,402. Baggarly missed the Final Jeopardy clue, which was sports-related. The category was “New Olympic Sports.”
During the interview segment with the contestants, Baggarly said following the MLB Giants' World Series victory in '10 he “locked himself in a room” and “pumped out about 100,000 words in three weeks” for his book, “A Band of Misfits: Tales of the 2010 San Francisco Giants.” Baggarly: “There were a million people – biggest civic event in San Francisco history – for the victory parade so I see an audience for material.” He added that the book sold “very well” (“Jeopardy,” 7/25).
