Final Four Floor Arriving In New Orleans For Superdome Installation

The official floor for the NCAA men's basketball tournament Final Four will arrive in New Orleans today with a "special parade and a unique board cutting ceremony at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome." Today's events, which include a formal dedication of the playing surface, mark the end of a seven-city tour. Representatives of NCAA sponsor UPS, "including the floor's driver," will take part in the ceremony alongside officials from Connor Sport Court Int'l and the New Orleans Local Organizing Committee (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 3/20).
