Fox Sports Designates Laura McKeeman As Social Media Reporter

Fox today will announce plans for "a dedicated 'social media reporter' popping up to report on relevant social media postings." Laura McKeeman will serve that role in Fox' coverage of the Pac-12 men's basketball tournament across 20 of its RSNs (USA TODAY, 3/7). McKeeman joined Fox Sports last year after being named Miss St. Petersburg 2011 and has been reporting mainly on college recruiting in the Southeast for FS Florida (THE DAILY).

The Suns named former WNBAer Kayte Christensen the team's first social media sideline reporter in December prior to the start of this NBA season. Christensen appears during the team's home game broadcasts on FS Arizona and KTAR-AM.
