Missouri Curators Begin Meetings Today In K.C. To Discuss Realignment

The Univ. of Missouri Board of Curators will meet today and tomorrow in K.C., and the board "almost certainly will be deliberating and probably voting about whether MU should pursue membership" in the SEC or remain in the Big 12. The first closed session will be held at 3:45pm CT today, followed by another closed session tomorrow beginning at 10:00am. It is expected that one or both of the meetings "will involve discussion about realignment," but school officials "are giving no such signals" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 10/20).

Univ. of Missouri Board of Curators Chair Warren Erdman said of a possible realignment decision: "I will probably have nothing to say on that until Friday. If there is anything to say then" (K.C. STAR, 10/20).
