McAfee yesterday released a report detailing how "hackers based in China spent five years ransacking the computer networks" of several entities, including the IOC, WADA and "the Olympic committees of several countries." Many of the sports organizations were "hacked in the lead-up" to the '08 Beijing Games (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 8/4).

FS Wisconsin today is launching GameConnect, a new tool to accompany its Brewers telecasts. The new system will provide fans with "real-time updates and statistics," as well as "full game box scores, team leader lists and player bios" (JSONLINE.com, 8/2).

The NFL runs a full-page ad in this morning's USA Today that features training camp images from the Browns, Chiefs and Cardinals with the copy, "Back To Football. Training Camp Is Here" (THE DAILY).
