Magic's Banchero gets JT1 player edition "Huevos Bancheros"

Magic rookie F Paolo Banchero donned his Jordan Tatum 1 PEs titled “Huevos Bancheros,” which is inspired by the popular Mexican breakfast huevos rancheros and a spin on the rookie's name. The JT1 is the first signature shoe by Celtics F Jayson Tatum, which got its release during 2023 All-Star Weekend. Banchero, after being drafted No. 1 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft, signed a multi-year deal with the Jordan Brand and has since been seen wearing fellow Jumpman family member Mavericks G Luka Doncic signature shoe, the Luka 1s, as well as other Air Jordans.

BREAKFAST CLUB: The “Huevos Bancheros” PE features colors of the ingredients found in the popular dish including eggs, tortillas and salsa mixed throughout the colorway. The mesh upper panels in the shoe are made in a beige hue with the heel and eyestrays featured in a shade resembling a tortilla. The tongue, bearing Tatum’s logo, and the heel tab comes crafted in a green hue that takes after avocados and chili. The salsa and chorizo in the Mexican breakfast is featured in the shoe's inner lining while a egg-yellow shade surrounds the TPU frame. The PEs is finished with the graphic “Gameday Brunch” with the caption, “Now serving…Huevos Bancheros," under the graphic in the shoe's inner soles. According to data from Zoomph, the Magic's social post showcasing the Banchero in the PEs drew a social value of about $8,000 from close to 300,000 impressions online.
