Executive Transactions - February 10, 2023

Former PGA Tour SVP/Player Relations ROSS BERLIN has joined TIGER WOODS and RORY MCILROY's tech league TGL "to handle the critical role of player relations." Berlin, who "began in his consulting role" as SVP/Player Relations for TGL in November, has been "hard at work securing player commitment and will play an integral role in scheduling, working in tandem with the PGA Tour to make sure the schedules dovetail nicely, team selection and down to the nitty gritty of rehearsals and logistics" (GOLFWEEK, 2/10).

The Hawks and State Farm Arena promoted BRANDI BURTON to VP/Event Strategy & Experience, MELISSA SILBERMAN to Head of Partnership Development & Insights, TIM WHANG to VP/Global Partnerships Activation and JENNIFER YOUNG to VP/Revenue Strategy (SBJ).

Mets Assistant GM BRYN ALDERSON is "no longer with the organization." Alderson is the son of outgoing Mets President SANDY ALDERSON and had been one of three Assistant GMs, along with IAN LEVIN and BEN ZAUZMER (N.Y. POST, 2/10).

Cast Iron Media named ANDREW BARNET SVP/West Coast Sales and promoted ROBERT BIANCHINE to SVP/East Coast Sales, PAUL SOUTH to SVP/Midwest Sales and ASHLEY SHEA to VP/Account Management & Marketing. Barnet will focus on expanding Cast Iron's Connected TV and In-Venue media business across the region. Bianchine's new responsibilities will include managing and strengthening the company's existing N.Y.-based sales operations. South has begun building the Chicago-based Midwest team, starting with the hiring of sports media sales exec RYAN RABE. Shea's expanded responsibilities will include oversight of account management across all three regions (Cast Iron Media).
