T-Wolves Gaming to make Mall of America official home

Wisdom Gaming and the T'Wolves have partnered to make Wisdom Gaming’s Mall of America Minnesota location the official home of T-Wolves Gaming, the club’s NBA 2K League team. T-Wolves Gaming will operate entirely out of the Wisdom Gaming owned space. Formerly, the esports team operated out of the Timberwolves’ practice facility, the Mayo Clinic Square. Wisdom Gaming president Steve LaCroix said his years working with the Vikings directly led to the initial conversations with T-Wolves Gaming.

“2022 was a monumental growth year for Wisdom Gaming and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow in 2023. We have been fortunate to partner with several Minnesota professional sports teams and are always looking to partner with like-minded organizations who share our goal of growing the esports fandom in Minnesota and across the country,” LaCroix said.

As the esports industry prepares for a market correction, Wisdom Gaming is confident it is prepared well enough to survive. It cites partnerships like this one with T-Wolves Gaming that will enable it to remain nimble as the market is set to change rapidly along with its production capabilities. The Wisdom Gaming Studio functions as a broadcast facility as well as a conduit for local fans to interact with the teams. T-Wolves Gaming exclusive merchandise will be sold on location.
