WME signs top basketball recruit for NIL work

WME Sports has signed basketball phenom DJ Wagner, a 17-year-old combo guard and high school senior who is seen as the nation’s top college recruit, for NIL representation. Wagner is the son of former NBAer Dajuan Wagner and grandson of NBA player Milt Wagner. He will become the first third generation NBA player if he is drafted and plays in the league. Wagner signed an NIL contract with Nike earlier this week. He plays at Camden High School in Camden, N.J. and is ranked No. 1 on ESPN’s 2023 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database.
