Mayfield confirms Progressive campaign done after trade out of Cleveland

New Panthers QB Baker Mayfield confirmed that there “will be no more ‘At Home With Baker Mayfield’ Progressive commercials” following his trade away from the Browns, according to Joseph Salvador of SI.com. Mayfield during his first press conference since the trade said that he “wanted to do a moving out version of the beloved commercials but it didn’t work out.” The multiyear campaign depicted Mayfield “hanging out in FirstEnergy Stadium as if it’s his home and doing normal chores on a little bit of a bigger scale” (SI.com, 7/12). AWFUL ANNOUNCING's Brandon Contes notes watching Mayfield "pack up a U-Haul and relocate to Carolina’s Bank of America Stadium seemed like an obvious win for Progressive." Meanwhile, Mayfield "made sure to mention his excitement" about trying Charlotte-based QSR Bojangles, hinting that he is "ready for some new endorsement deals" (AWFULANNOUNCING.com, 7/13).
